Legislation enacted by Congress requires that federally chartered financial institutions provide their customers or
members with clear information about how information obtained by that financial institution is used. As you may know,
many organizations sell their lists to others for the solicitation of various products. The legislation was aimed at providing
individuals with an opportunity to "opt out" of these industry wide practices. It is the policy of the Artists Community Federal Credit Union to provide information about our members to others only as required by a court order or the law, or requested by a member regarding his or her own account. Since we do not provide information to others for marketing or commercial purpose, there is no "opt out" form attached. Should we change this policy at any time, you will be notified prior to implementation and provided an opportunity to "opt out." However, we want to give you clear information about how we collect information, what we do with it, and how we safeguard it. We welcome any suggestions or comments you may have, and if at any time, you feel your private information with us has been misused in any way, please call us immediately.
